We have already had higher than normal temps here in our area. As the Summer approaches be sure and check on elderly neighbors and friends. In order to save money sometimes they will go without AC or other necessities to keep them cool. Its in those times that they also will go without the everyday household and personal hygiene items. If you know of a family who is having a hard time because of job loss or a burn out or some other disaster that is out of their control or a senior citizen who is living on very little income and needs help please let us know. There is an email link at the bottom of the contact us page also a Face Book link and our PO Box address. We are here and available to help that is our desire!
We will be getting some baskets ready to go out this week to the Grandparents and other elderly families in a couple of towns close to this area. The donation we got last week was so awesome and came at a time when I was getting a little discouraged. God always knows when to nudge me to let me know He is in control and this is what He has called me to do. As always I get impatient and want things to happen faster but all in His time!
If you feel led or nudged to help me in any way (donations, names of families, items to donate, making calls and contacting other organizations in our local area or towns close to get more names of people who need help) please let me know.
