We want to thank Community Church in Sikeston, MO for the 36 items donated for our baskets, including several jugs of laundry detergent, bar soap, lotion, shampoo and some other items. They have donated a large number of items over the past 6 months and we really appreciate them!
We also have 5 baskets ready to be delivered, which will make our total number of baskets given 748. Just 2 more to get to 750. WOW! All this in just under 2 years! Thank you and God bless all who are helping us bless others with a Laundry Basket Full of Love.
We have been contacted by several local groups and businesses wanting information about LBFOL and how they can help with donations. We are working with them to develop some upcoming fund raisers and will post information about when and where they will be as things develop.
Also coming up is our 2nd annual Project Christmas Basket on December 7, 2013 which will feature our 1000th basket given away! Last year we had an army of volunteers to help load and deliver more than 100 baskets that day and everyone had a great and rewarding time, so we’re looking forward to an even better time this year!
We are in need of donations to help us reach this goal and make Christmas a very special time this year for some needy and deserving senior adults and struggling households.
We will need at least $8750 to reach our 1000th basket, so please help us reach this goal by:
- Donating through PayPal
- Sending a donation to our mailing address.
- Spread the word to your friends by liking us on Facebook or following us on Twitter!
Remember, all donations to LBFOL are tax deductible.
We also still have T-shirts and necklace pendants for sale. Message or email LBFOL for information about how you can get yours.
Thanks in advance and God Bless each of you,
Marilyn Hull
