Slow Hot Week

It’s been a slow (delivering baskets) and hot (weather-wise) week!  I was able to get some bargains for the baskets and also found some baskets at a great price this week! 🙂

I also got word of a friend’s brother who is in the Army in Afghanistan with 120° weather and was rewarded with some very outdated Gatorade to drink, so my sister Diane and I got some things together to send over to him. They make Gatorade in individual packets that you can add to water, so we sent that, some bath tissue, Q-Tips, lip chap, toothpaste and toothbrushes, deodorant and some snacks to eat.  I thank God for all the servicemen and women who are out there under very horrible conditions and the least we can do is help them in this way. I also send expired coupons to military families, which they can use up to 6 months after the expiration date.

If you would like to help with donations of money, items or coupons please check out the How Can I Help  page. Donations have slowed down quite a bit even though there have been several ask how they can help. Any and all help is appreciated not only by me but by those who are in need!

Thanks again…
