PCB 2014 Huge Success

Last Saturday the 3rd annual Project Christmas Basket delivered 246 LBFOL baskets to some very deserving senior citizens in seven different towns in the Southeast Missouri area. This brings our total baskets delivered to 1439 and we already have several names on the list for January 2015.

Three volunteer teams were sent out to Morehouse, Hayti and Poplar Bluff, who delivered baskets to the many grateful recipients with lots of hugs and tears. Thank you to all our LBFOL volunteers, members of Abundant Grace in Bertrand and UPS employees/friends/family in Hayti and Poplar Bluff. We will be posting pictures as soon as possible.

Several Sikeston businesses still have donation baskets available if you would like to drop off items for upcoming baskets. Drop-off locations are:

  • Paul’s Christian Bookstore, E.  Front St.
  • Blades Family Hair Salon, E. Front St.
  • Raburn-Evans Glass W. Trotter St.
  • Daily Standard, S. New Madrid St.

A big thank you to these sponsoring businesses for their support.  If you want to send a monetary donation you can do so through PayPal or to our mailing address. All donations are tax deductible and greatly appreciated.

Thank you and God bless,

Marilyn
