We are nearing our 800th basket delivered since beginning in September 2011. This week we delivered baskets 786 though 791 and are just a week away from Project Christmas Basket 2013 when we will deliver our 1000th basket! We have finally finished marking the remaining items and have about half of them loaded in the trailer to take to UPS on December 7 to go into more than 200 baskets for senior and disabled adults in Sikeston and surrounding communities.
We are looking forward to getting together with family, friends and volunteers on this day and putting smiles on the faces of some very deserving senior citizens. Thank you again to all who have helped with donations, time and items. We couldn’t do it with out the help from our volunteers.
