We had a great turn out for our 2015 Make a Difference Day Event. The day started off withrain so we moved to my home church Trinity Gospel in Sikeston, MO, but that didn’t dampen our spirits. We had about 30 come out and help us fill and deliver 72 baskets to some very deserving senior citizens. We had helpers of all ages bringing smiles to basket recipients. One lady posted on face book and was shared to us by a friend from another part of the state:
“It’s was so awesome I was very thankful . I had just told my husband, honey I need some laundry soap to do some clothes with .our finances have been attacked so bad last few months . But you know God shows up just at the right time . Those little ones that came to my door they were so precious and happy happy. Wow is all I can say!”
This expression of gratitude is one reason we do what we do. It brings to mind our motto “Delivering God’s Love one Laundry Basket at a time.” Thank you so much to all of our volunteers and those who support us with donations. Without them we could not do what we do on a daily basis. God Bless each of you very much!
If you would like to help us with a donation you can do so through pay pal or our mailing address. All donations are tax exempt and greatly appreciated. You can also find more info on our face book page.
