We delivered our 1105th basket on Friday April 12. The lady was so happy to receive the basket and was so thankful for the help. Her hugs and tears told the story of how much she appreciated LBFOL and all those who help with donations and their time.
We also had a couple of articles printed in local papers about LBFOL looking for a building to house our donated and purchased items. Thank you to the Standard Democrat of Sikeston for their article and The East Prairie Eagle for their article. We have had a couple responses and will be looking at a building in the next couple of days.
Thanks to the help of volunteers and businesses in the area, we have collected some items for the Sikeston in Bloom fund raiser on May 3 and East Prairie Main Street Party & Tour De Corn on June 27 and 28. There are some fabulous items we will be raffling off. We also will be selling snacks, drinks, T-shirts and LBFOL necklace pendants. Please check out the links and be sure and come out and support us. You will not be sorry! We will post pics and more info on the items that we will in be raffle in the next couple weeks. We also received a couple of great donations this past week.
Thank you to NJ of East Prairie, MO and the BMU Employees of Sikeston, MO for your donation and support. Without the help of donations we cannot do what we do. If you would like to make a tax-exempt donation, you can do so through PayPal or our mailing address. All donations are greatly appreciated! If you have questions or you know of those in the Southeast Missouri area that would need a basket please contact us.
Thank you in advance and God bless,
Marilyn
