We have set Saturday April 20, 2013 as our next big project here at LBFOL. Spring Clean 2013 will be in conjunction with spring cleaning and the week of our mom, Blanche Hull’s birthday. We wanted to honor her memory while delivering our 500th basket and what better way than to have a large LBFOL event on the Saturday before what would have been her 83rd birthday?
We have big plans for this day and need your help to make it a big success! We will be delivering baskets to several different towns in the Southeast Missouri area.
We will have the use of a local corporate delivery company’s building to fill the baskets and their trucks to deliver the baskets. This will be a major boost for LBFOL and get us statewide and even nationwide exposure! We are preparing for television, magazine, newspaper and corporate interviews and articles.
Mark your calenders and plan on helping us April 20, 2013 as we deliver our 500th basket and bless many senior citizens in different towns around our area with a laundry basket filled with love! We can do this with your help. If you would like to donate please check out our memorial page and donate in honor of our mother, Blanche Hull. This organization was something she was so glad to be a part of and helped in several ways and would have been so proud and happy to be a part of Spring Clean 2013.
We received a donation last night from a school friend that saw us on the TV interview for Project Christmas Basket from December of 2012. Thanks so much D, for your donation. If you live in our area and would like to donate items, you can leave them at Paul’s Christian Book Store, 114 E. Front, Sikeston, MO. The owner Beverly has a basket set up for item donations. For a list of items that we need, please check out the list on our What’s in a basket page.
We are looking forward to what God has in store for LBFOL in 2013! Won’t you come be a part of this great opportunity to bless those who are struggling with everyday household cleaning and personal hygiene items? We know you will be blessed!
Thank you in advance and God Bless,
Marilyn
