We had our organizational meeting for Project Christmas Basket 2014 tonight. On December 6, 2014 we will be deliveringover 200 baskets to six towns in SE Missouri. We will send a team of volunteers to load and deliver baskets at the Hayti, MO UPS center starting at 8:00 am, then delivering on to Risco, MO Gideon, MO and Wardell, MO. We will also send a team of volunteers to load and deliver baskets at the Poplar Bluff, MO UPS center starting at 9:00 am. We will get 27 baskets ready a day before and send a volunteer team to Morehouse, MO on that Saturday morning to deliver those baskets. It will be a very full day of blessing some senior citizens and families with a Laundry Basket Full of Love. If you would like to donate items for our baskets we have five local business’ that have volunteered to be drop off locations for donated basket items. Paul’s Christian Books 114 E. Front, Standard Democrat 205 S. New Madrid, Blades Salon 133 E. Front, Raburn Evans Glass 122 W. Trotter and World Finance 1053 E. Malone all in Sikeston, MO. We appreciate each of these business’ for their willingness to help LBFOL.
We also delivered baskets 1186 and 1187 this week also. Thank you to SaDonna for helping us this week.
