LBFOL blessed with a donated building

Just a couple weeks ago, we asked if anyone might have a building sitting empty that they would be interested in allowing us to store basket items in, as our garage and home office were getting quite full. A couple of local papersran an article about it and last week we got a message on Facebook from a friend saying they had a building we could use. We went out to look and it will fit our needs just perfectly. We are super excited about getting it cleaned out and getting items moved into the new building in the next few weeks.

Thank you so much to Amy & John! They have really touched our hearts and blessed us big time and we greatly appreciate it! We picked up the key today and will begin to clean and move things over the next few days and evenings. If anyone would like to help message us on our Facebook page or through the information on our contact us page. This is just one step closer to what God has promised and we are so thankful for His guidance!

We also received some donated items from the First Christian Church of New Madrid, MO this week with their promise to donate a filled basket each week. We also received a cash donation from the First Christian Church here in Sikeston, MO. The church has pledged to send a donation each quarter of 2014. We are very appreciative to both of these churches for their faithfulness to hear and respond to what God leads them to do.

We also got a message of a single mother with two daughters who has been struggling for sometime and we will be delivering basket 1106 to her on Monday. If you know of an elderly person, couple or family in the Southeast Missouri area that is in need, please let us know through the information on our contact us page or Facebook page and we will get a basket for them. If you would like to make a monetary donation you can do so through Paypal or to our mailing address. All donations are tax deducible and very much appreciated!

We will be having our follow-up fund raising event meeting on April 22 at 7 PM at Marilyn’s home. If you would like to come and help us with ideas and help on our two fund raising events coming up (Sikeston in Bloom on May 3 in downtown Sikeston, MO and the East Praire Block Party and Tour De Corn on June 27 and 28 B in East Prairie, MO), we would love to have you attend.

For directions and more info you can message us on Facebook through our contact us page on here.  These two fund raising events are going to be so much fun but a lot of work and all help is appreciated. We will have some large items to raffle off, along with several donated items from local businesses. We will be selling t-shirts, pendants, snacks, sodas, water and other donated items. You will NOT want to miss these events!!!!

Thank you in advance and God bless!
Marilyn
